Two famous photographers in Canada are testing the 3DPideas adapters and now you can read the first review.
It's difficult to found information about the thickness of our round filters because of that I created this chart with the two most famous filters brands, I hope it will be useful.
Note: The 3DPideas adapters are designed to fit with Slim polarizers. We are using as a reference the HOYA Pro 1 Digital (5mm).
Do you know the quality of NISI filters?
NISI is a young Chinese company that sell square and round filters and also his own aluminium holder.
They are using Scott glass like B&H or Haida, their thick filter design ring for the round filters are awesome and the filter catalog are huge, promising?
I will have some material from this company in a few days to do a review.... exciting....
If you want to see what this company offer, click in his logo.
If anyone are interested the patent US5526194 had expired some years ago, what is it about?, Google it and give your comment...
Does it ring a bell?
I have designed the adapter for the Nikon HB-23 bayonet that is compatible with:
In some weeks I will have tested this adapter.
Today I test the T77L adapter in the Tokina AT-X 11-16 PRO DXII and I now I can say that it works pefect.
Now it's possible to buy it in the shop.
Due to some benting problems in the adapters I will print them in the new material VeroBlack Plus, this material have a better dimensional stability and it is harder than the VeroBlack.
Is possible to read the specs in the Stratasys web VeroBlack Plus
Today I visit one of the beautiful beaches near my town to take some photos with the compatible Lee adapter (C83L), I post the photos in the Lee adapter section to show how it works with three slots at 10mm in an APC-S camera.
I used the Lee Big Stopper filter to take a photo and it's very difficult not to have flares with the Lee holder, I think I should design a new aluminium holder... or maybe I have one designed...
