After a huge amount of tests and changes the Badpter is in the "production" stage.
Due to the investment necessary to produce the aluminium adapter the first version going to the market will be the Lee compatible adapter. Después de muchísimas pruebas y cambios el Badpter está finalmente en el estadio de producción. Debido a la inversión necesaria para producir la versión en aluminio, la primera versión en ver la luz en la tienda será el adaptador compatible con el portafiltros Lee.

Yesterday I received the new 3D printed rings to insert in the Badpter (aluminium adapter) and I test it in my lenses working as I expected. I will have to harden the lens fixation to achieve a better sensation in the bayonet but this is a minor change. Today I decided test the Badpter outside to see how it works, I know that the "sample" adapter it not the best to take photos due to the aluminium bright (flares) but to see some technical aspects it enough. When I was driving to take some photos in a beautiful village near "Vilafranca del Penedes" I found an incredible fashion hotel that hook me, I stopped the car and took some photos with the adapter and the Haida ND1000. I had hard problems with flares due to the sun position, I know that was not the best hour to take photos, maybe was the worst, but I'm not very satisfy with the Lee holder. I didn't correct the temperature of the photo took with the Haida filter because I like the warmer finishing.
Yes, it is possible and I will test a new design slot that don't have vignetting in a FF using a Canon 16-35 f/2.8 lens (theoretically).
These slots could be a good complement to do an improvement pack for the Lee holder in combination with the Badpter. First test of the aluminium "sample" adapter with a Lee compatible holder. In some days I will receive the Lee aluminium sample from my workshop to start the testing process, I'm very excited...
At last some good news. While I'm trying to solve the VeroBlackPlus situation I'm working in new lens bayonets and today I test the adapter in the AF-S DX NIKKOR 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED with satisfactory results. Some post before this one I said that the adapter will be printed with a better material from Stratasys, the VeroBlackPlus.
The company invest a good quantity of money to buy this new material VeroBlackPlus from Stratasys to offer a better product giving to the adapter a harder structure and better dimensional qualities. After some tests we decided to throw away all the VeroBlack adapters (this is a lot of money) in stock to send the best material to the buyers, 3DPideas want to offer a high quality products. Today I received some adapters directly from the printer company to have in stock and they were bent, the same problem that we had with the VeroBlack. Due to this I decided to close the shop and do a complain to Stratasys to found what is happening with this material because this problem don't exist with other materials/colors like the VeroWhitePlus o VeroGreyPlus, it's possible in one of the 3DPideas videos to see the VeroWhitePlus working. For my is so hard to write this at this moment, when this young company is starting. but 3DPideas will not sell anything if we are not totally sure that it will works perfect. On the other hand, we are working hard in the aluminium version that will be available soon, with this adapter 3DPideas will join the best of the 3D printing with high tech aluminium.
