I want to start my first article in this Blog to show how it's possible to mount Cokin P filters in a Cokin Z-Pro holder using the 3D printing technology.
There are people that jump from the P (84x84mm) filters to the Z (100x100mm) filters but they want to take advantage of his old filters and they can't.
I was searching through the web but I only found awful plastic adapters to mount A filters in P holders and Z filters in P holders, or the terrible Cokin adapter O362 that allow you fit only P filters, due to this non profitable searching I decided to design my own solution.
With this redesigned guides it's possible to use the Cokin P and Z filters in the Z-Pro holder, you only have to loosen the screws and slide the guide to the new position. In the left photo you can see in white the new guides, I test it with a 100x100 filter and it works like a charm.
I'm not sure if there are a lot of people with this problem, because of that I will not sell this new guides in the shop, I'll do something better I will give the design for free.
In the next link you can download the two STL files to print the guides, I recommend a good print resolution.
If you don't know where to print try to found a printer near you using the fantastic makexyz web.
